Supporting Vulnerable Clients

This is a non accredited training course and learners will not receive a qualification.

 

The Supporting Vulnerable Clients course is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe, respectful, and effective support to individuals who may be vulnerable due to age, disability, health, or social circumstances. The course explores best practices for identifying vulnerability, understanding needs, and responding appropriately in a professional setting.

Learners will gain an understanding of safeguarding principles, communication strategies, and ethical responsibilities, helping them build trust and confidence when working with vulnerable clients. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to provide sensitive, informed, and professional support.

  • We provide a unique learning experience unlike traditional education providers. You will receive one-on-one tutoring and mentoring at your own pace.

    Grantham Training Centre: If you are local and can attend, this is the best option. You will benefit from tutor and peer support in a relaxed environment. The training centre is not a typical classroom; it has a comfortable atmosphere with a radio and refreshments. Your tutor will let you know when the sessions are on and how to book into a session

    Blended Learning: If you cannot attend the Grantham centre, don't worry. Your tutor can support you via 1:1 Zoom sessions, phone calls, emails, texts, or WhatsApp—whatever suits you best. This will be discussed on your pre course assessment.

  • We plan that this will take you approximately 6 weeks - however if you get through quicker than that - fine, if you take a little longer - that’s fine too! Here at 3CATS, we work with you until you are comfortable in your understanding before moving on.

  • There are tutor marked assignments throughout the course to support each of the study units. There is a final module paper to complete but it is not in exam conditions.

    • All of the learning materials and software that you need to complete this will be provided to you. You will need access to a windows based laptop to complete the software section as Sage is not compatible with Mac.

  • The price you will pay for this course with 3CATS is only £290.

  • To qualify for funding from Lincolnshire County Council and The European Social Fund you must meet the following criteria;

    1. You must be aged 19 or older as of 31.08.2023

    2. You must live in Lincolnshire

    3. You must earn £20,319.50 or less per year OR be in receipt of state benefits such as Universal Credit, Job Seekers Allowance etc
