Modular Computerised Bookkeeping for Business Skills

This is a non accredited training course and learners will not receive a qualification.

This course aims to take the learner on a journey from novice to payroll assistant within 6 weeks.

Learning outcomes

  • Be able to set up and maintain computerised bookkeeping software

  • Be able to create supplier and customer records

  • Be able to process payments, receipts and transfers

  • Be able to produce various reports

  • We provide a unique learning experience unlike traditional education providers. You will receive one-on-one tutoring and mentoring at your own pace.

Grantham Training Centre: If you are local and can attend, this is the best option. You will benefit from tutor and peer support in a relaxed environment. The training centre is not a typical classroom; it has a comfortable atmosphere with a radio and refreshments. Your tutor will let you know when the sessions are on and how to book into a session

Blended Learning: If you cannot attend the Grantham centre, don't worry. Your tutor can support you via 1:1 Zoom sessions, phone calls, emails, texts, or WhatsApp—whatever suits you best. This will be discussed on your pre course assessment.

  • We plan that this will take you approximately 6 weeks - however if you get through quicker than that - fine, if you take a little longer - that’s fine too! Here at 3CATS, we work with you until you are comfortable in your understanding before moving on.

  • There are tutor marked assignments throughout the course to support each of the study units. There is a final module paper to complete but it is not in exam conditions.

    • All of the learning materials and software that you need to complete this will be provided to you. You will need access to a windows based laptop to complete the software section as Sage is not compatible with Mac.

  • The price you will pay for this course with 3CATS is only £250.

Employers - discounts are available for group bookings - please contact us to discuss.
